Credit Take II

Matchoo is for profit, in that we intend on making enough money to hire talented people to keep make Matchoo awesome. However our aim is provide as much benefit as possible to as many people as possible, especially those in need of our help. We'd also like to reward content contributors in some fashion.

There are three ways to get your hands on Credit, Matchoo's equivalent to wonga.

Firstly earn by contributing! When people purchase your products in the marketplace we split the credit used between Matchoo and you. Currently this split is 50/50 but this may change over time.
 - Why don't I get all the credit? The Matchoo model relies on collaboration, you make the content but we make the environment that content is hosted in, not to mention the game modes you use. Adding a level of tax also eliminates some ways in which the system could be scammed with fake users and downloads. We want to make sure content use is real, so those with the top content can get recognition.

The second way you can get hold of credit is by playing the game! Why? We're trying to help educators and pupils. A fundamental issue came up when considering this aim, to avoid creating a barrier to entry for those that needed it most. To get around this Matchoo became play to pay to play.

Thirdly - if you need to get there quickly you can pay to play, using your trusted platform services (the AppStore, Google Play, TBD on PC).

What we're going to try and do it make sure that most credit is covered by the first two cases, essentially making Matchoo a free service. We'll adjust the ratios and speed of earning to keep need for users to spend money low, but allow us to operate without advertising if possible.
