Who am I?
Hopefully this will become the "Who are We" page before too long!
My name is Thomas Shepherd, I've been working in the gaming industry since the late 90s with titles on the Ps1/2/3/4, PC, Xbox/360/One. I've been in leadership roles on many titles most notably leading a late charge multiplayer development on Red Dead Redemption and helping with the technical direction of GTAV. I've also built physics engines, graphics engines, online system, UI systems, AI and everything in between (except audio, for some reason) from the ground up at one stage or another during my career. I love working with designers, artists and other creative people putting out high quality products - trying too shape peoples talents to a product and a product to peoples talents.
A bit over a year ago I left my job and went indie. So far I've been very quiet about what I'm working on but as Matchoo becomes more of a reality its time to make a bit more noise and see if I can get more people interested in joining in with this adventure.
I'm excited to be trying something different and hoping to get a great application out that can really help people using the amazing new technology that is steadily spreading across the world.
Peace and Love!
Tom
